WarningSum:...Flood Warning Now In Effect Until Further Notice...

Warning Message:The Flood Warning continues for
  the Wapsipinicon River near Anamosa Shaw Rd.
* Until further notice.
* At  8:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 11.4 feet...and rising. 
* Flood stage is  14 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise above flood stage Friday morning...and continue 
  rising to 15.3 feet Sunday morning.
* Impact...at  15 feet...water affects the Camelot campground.

Warning Message:At 1026 PM CST...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Apple River to 
south of Dubuque... to Monticello...moving north at 35 mph.
* Thunderstorms will be near...
  Waubeek...Monticello and Bernard around 1035 PM CST...
  Apple River...Cascade...Scales Mound and Galena around 1040 PM
  CST...
  Prairieburg...Dubuque Regional Airport and Central City around 1050
  PM CST...
Pea to penny size hail...winds of 25 to 35 mph...frequent cloud to 
ground lightning and heavy rain can be expected with this line of
storms as they move through.
Expect ponding of water on roads and in low-lying areas.

...Scattered thunderstorms with heavy rain and small hail...
Scattered thunderstorms will move northward across the area
through midnight producing brief heavy rain and gusty winds up to
35 mph. The stronger storms could produce hail up to the size of a
penny. Since the ground is saturated...any rain that does occur
will go straight into runoff...which may lead to some flooding of
low lying areas and localized rises on area creeks and streams.

...Dense fog...
Patchy to areas of dense fog will continue to develop through late
evening. Visibilities will be reduced to less than one quarter
mile at times. Conditions may improve overnight as rain
overspreads the area. If you will be driving tonight...remain
alert for the dense fog. Slow down...give yourself plenty of breaking
distance... and keep your headlights on low beam.
